The top edge of the book has deliberately been cut at an angle. Publisher's description: We could call him Matteo Cibic, borrowing the title he chose for one of the sections in which he structured the exhibition "Paradiso dreams". Herein lies his originality: the ability to generate short circuits of meaning, and to create forms that did not exist before he invented them, but with the echo and memory of the forms generated by previous generations inside. Paradoxical as it may seem, with him even ceramic seems to be made with the same material that dreams are made of (Silvana Annicchiarico, curator). A leading exponent of contemporary design culture, Matteo Cibic works at the crossroads of design, art and high craftsmanship. Raised in a family with strong design traditions, he developed an experimental approach that leads him to do research on materials, on forms and production techniques. He has been working on ceramic for more than twenty years, with a visionary and highly innovative gaze. His works are exhibited in some of the main museums in the world.
Subject Headings: Eastern and Western European Art ; Western Art -- Italy -- Post-1945 ; Post-1970 ; Post-1990 ; Post-2000 -- Ceramics ; Sculpture --
