It is the catalog of the exhibition promoted by the Sacred Art School of Firenze at the premises of the Istituto degli Innocenti, where the works of students and alumni are exhibited alongside those of the professors and guest artists. The various researches converge on the theme of divine and human Maternity, continuing the study on the incarnation of Christ started with the exhibition In una Carne. The sense of the body, held in 2016 at the Museo dell'Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore. The assumption by God of a human body to restore it in the beautiful holiness of its origins has in fact offered the reason for a new investigation, naturally drawing attention to the one who bore the Son of God as Mother. The artists on show look at Mary's motherhood as a historical and Christian fact, but within the framework of the great maternal vocation of every woman in its natural and spiritual, eternal and contemporary aspects, as a contribution so that the dignity of mothers is still valued in the interior life, familiar and public of our civilization.
